A cornerstone in Rare Air’s Michael Jordan Artistic Series lithograph collection, this piece features a Walter Iooss, Jr. portrait of MJ and literally Michael?s hands using removable acrylic ink. We know it?s removable because we tried the ink at least a dozen times before sending our lead designer, John Vieceli, to meet Michael at his Chicago office.

The threat came quickly: ?If this ink doesn?t come off the minute I?m done, no one leaves until it does . . .?

After putting his hands in the red ink and pushing down on a half dozen sheets, Michael was done. ??This better come off.? And so, it did.

Michael’s handwritten words at the top of the image also were shot by Walter Iooss, Jr. for the book “For the Love of the Game.”
